Two Mindtree solutions win the SAP 2013 Industry Mobile App Challenge

Last week, we shared the news that two of Mindtree’s solutions: mPromo and mInspect were selected as finalists at the SAP TechEd 2013 conference. Well, I have a good update to that story!

Both the mPromo and mInspect solutions have won the first prize.

There is nothing more exciting than having industry leaders and experts recognizing our innovation. Mindtree witnessed this excitement not just once but twice on the same evening. Both the Mindtree apps “mInspect” and “mPromo – Mobile Trade Promotion Management” won the top honors in their respective categories at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas.

Now that we have won and I have time to reflect upon the journey that began over a year back. I believe this victory is a testament to our values - Collaborative Spirit, Unrelenting Dedication and Expert Thinking.

Mindtree is one of the first SAP partners to create a mobile app on the SAP CPM module. mInspect is a result of close collaboration between Mindtree and SAP team. It moves traditional back office functionality into the field by leveraging the power of mobility. This versatile mobile solution can not only service the Travel & Logistics industries but is also pertinent to other industries like Manufacturing, Hi-tech and Energy.

Mobility is opening doors to limitless opportunities for retailers and consumers. In a multi-channel and social environment, additional demands from consumers require retailers and CPG firms to respond with agility and context. Trade promotions are one of the most widely used and effective ways of keeping existing consumers loyal and acquiring new ones. mPromo improves the retailer’s ability to effectively manage promotions by accurately measuring sales uplift, perform real time modifications to existing promotions and get faster execution capabilities, all the while monitoring demand patterns in real time. Mindtree’s mPromo app combines the power of mobility and SAP Trade Promotion Management module to deliver a compelling solution to today’s retailers.

I believe that these wins can be attributed to the power of mobility and our capability to deliver a robust and scalable solution, targeting some very relevant challenges in the industry.

Welcome to possible
